伴随年代的进步，演讲技能已经变成一种基本技能。同时，演讲的艺术性也愈加受看重。本文就英语演讲的要点进行了总结和讲解。期望为大伙提供肯定的借鉴和指导。
演讲的要点就是指Presenting Skills（演说方法），一共有12个要点：
（1）Know your TOPic（了解你要讲什么题目）
（2）Know your audience（知道你的听众）
（3）Know your start and sTOP times，as well as who else is on（了解你开始和停止的时间与除你以外还有哪个要讲话）
（4）Know what you want people to do differently and tell them（对你所说的和大家所做的有哪些不同，心中要有数，并让听众了解）
（5）Make major points.（写下你的讲话要素）
（6）Check all yourequipment，sound，lighting and seating arrangements.（检查你的器材、音响、灯光和座位）
（7）Ask someone you trust and respect to constructively critique you.（请一个你所信赖和尊敬的人对你的讲稿提出建设性的批评和建议）
（8）Relax before you go on.（演讲前要放松）
（9）Practise，practise，practise.（训练、训练，再训练）
（10）Remember that even if you miss a bit or forget a couple of lines，nobody knows except you.（记住即或你漏掉一点或忘掉几行，除去你一个人，其他人是不会发现的）
（11）Omit telling jokes unless you are already a good joke|teller or plan to get better.（收起你想讲的笑话，除非你已经善于讲笑话或者计划在这方面有所提升）
（12）Have fun（要有趣味）。
